Purpose:

MoDA partners DoD civilian experts with foreign counterparts to build ministerial core competencies such as personnel and readiness, logistics, strategy and policy, and financial management

Currently, there are approximately 80 advisors in Afghanistan

MoDA was granted global authority in the FY12 NDAA, and is currently supporting advisors in the European, African, Pacific, Central, and Southern Command areas of responsibility
