Navy Fisher House

Fisher House - Helping Military Families

Navy Fisher House - Navy Fisher House provides a home away from home for wounded, ill, and injured service members and their families, both Active Duty and Retired. These homes enable family members to be close to a loved one at the most stressful times - during the hospitalization for an unexpected illness, disease, or injury. The Navy Fisher Houses assist families in need and ensure that they are provided with the comforts of home in a supportive environment.

Eligibility Requirements

1. Patient must be receiving medical treatment.

2. Family has traveled from at least 40 miles away.

Additional requirements must be met.

Referrals may be prepared by physicians, nurses, Chaplains, social workers, American Red Cross,

Case Managers, and/or Patient Administration.

Volunteer at the Fisher House!

Each Fisher House has a full-time staff but depends on volunteers and voluntary support to enhance daily
