DISA has implemented direct dialing with a standardized ten digit dialing plan to all allied networks.

Australia: Defence Voice Network (DVN)
The DSN area codes for the DVN are all area codes starting with a 72, 73, 77, or 78 (72X, 73X, 77X, and 78X). DSN users dial “7” followed by the 9-digit DVN number.  DSN users in Hawaii must  first dial a “5” (57 and then the 9-digit DVN number).

Canada: Canadian Switched Network (CSN)
The DSN area codes for the CSN are 319 for voice and 509 for VTC. DSN users dial “319” or “509” followed by the 7-digit CSN number.

NATO: NATO Core Network (NCN)
The DSN area code for the NCN is 606.  DSN users dial “606” followed by the 7-digit NCN number.

New Zealand: Defence Telephone Network (DTelN)
The DSN area code for the DTelN is 715.  DSN users dial “715” followed by the 7-digit DTelN number.

United Kingdom: Defence Fixed Telecommunications Services (DFTS) Circuit Switched Service (CSS)
The DSN area codes for the DFTS-CSS are 202-206.  DSN users dial “20” followed by the 8-digit DFTS-CSS number.
