From the military services and around the DoD, here’s your Daily SITREP for Thursday, May 26, 2016.
- Special Operations airmen and soldiers joined with Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian special operations forces in Poland and Germany for Trojan Footprint 16.
- Air Force B-52s drop bombs in exercise with Jordanian forces during Eager Lion 16.
- Vice Adm. Ted Carter, superintendent of the U.S. Naval Academy, flew with the Blue Angels yesterday in support of Commissioning Week for the Class of 2016.
- Navy released updates to the Special Duty Assignment Pay for eligible enlisted sailors.
- The Marine Corps shooting team participated in the Australian Army Skill at Arms Meeting 2016.
- Soldiers from the 173rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne) and sailors from the U.S.S. Donald Cook, are the first U.S. service members to participate in EFES 2016, Turkey’s largest military exercise.
