TRAINING

The JCSS Project Office provides free training at the DISA facility in Ft. Meade, MD. Users who attend the training will gain an understanding of how to effectively conduct communications studies, execute rapid contingency planning, and perform detailed network analyses. JCSS training goals are to provide professional, relevant training to users' worldwide, around-the-clock available educational portal access, and community feedback facilitation.

The JCSS PMO has provided training to multiple combatant command headquarters, major subordinate commands, and operational units within the Department of Defense. Additionally, JCSS training has been provided to DoD support organizations specializing in modeling and simulation.

The JCSS PMO provides multiple training sessions per year in the Washington, DC metro area. The JCSS PMO also provides on-site training for a fee to combatant command, service, agency locations worldwide, and foreign military services upon request.

JCSS TRAINING COURSE

The JCSS Training Course is intended to provide military communication planners and analyst with hands on training on the JCSS software. Topics include: Installation and licensing, a detailed view of the JCSS editors and associated workflows, construction of moderate size networks, network performance prediction via analytical and discrete event simulation techniques, equipment failure analysis, importing device configuration files and advanced topics such as MANET, Link-16.

To enroll in the JCSS training course, please complete and submit the registration form below. Participants must be government employees or supported by a government sponsor.
