Directions from Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport

NEDU is located within Naval Support Activity, Panama City Beach, Florida. From the airport, exit the airport road onto Hwy 388, turning right (west). Drive 4.2 miles to State Hwy 79 and turn left (south). Drive 5.2 miles to US Hwy 98 and turn left (east). Follow US 98 for 7.6 miles. About 1/2 mile before you get to the upcoming turn off, the speed limit will drop from 55 to 45 and at this point you should move to the right lane and prepare to take the upcoming ramp on the right to Thomas Drive/NSA Main Gate/Bay Point. IMPORTANT: Don’t miss this ramp or you are headed over the bridge to Panama City! At the end of this ramp, you want to be in the center lane (right most left turn lane) and turn left and move immediately into the right lane as you will take another exit almost immediately. If you miss this exit, you again will be headed over the bridge to Panama City! Stay on the frontage road till you get to the light at Thomas Drive.

Follow the frontage road to the light at Thomas Drive (approx. 0.3 miles) and stay in the right lane when approaching the intersection. Turn right and proceed approx. one mile to the second light. Turn left into the Naval Support Activity. This gate is open 24/7. For a vehicle pass and directions to NEDU you will need to stop at the Visitor Reception Center located on the right just before you reach the vehicle check point. This center is open from 6:30 am to 4:00 pm M-F. Arrivals at other times should instead proceed to the vehicle check point and the guards will review your paperwork and issue a temporary pass till the reception center reopens.
