FACEPLATE is published by the Office of Supervisor of Salvage and Diving Director of Ocean Engineering (NAVSEA 00C) to provide the latest and most informative news to the Navy Diving and Salvage community.
Each issue features articles written by and about the U.S. Navy Fleet divers. Readers can find first-hand accounts of the latest Diving, Salvage, Underwater Ship Husbandry, and Pollution Abatement operations conducted around the world and also get a glimpse into the history of Navy Diving and Salvage and how the community has evolved over the years.

As addressed in the December 2008 issue of Faceplate, Any submissions via the Faceplate Editor mailing address below may be used, published and displayed as the Faceplate Editor sees fit. Faceplate reserves the right to reject letters or edit them for clarity, brevity, good taste and accuracy, and to prevent libel. Letters may be held for publication until suitable space is available.
Users may submit feedback to the Faceplate Editor. 
User should specify which issue is being addressed and submit text only comments to faceplate_editor@supsalv.org.
