Position Description (Duty Description)   A regional SVC is expected to provide legal advice and counsel to National Guard members who are victims of sexual assault enabling them to determine the degree of their participation in the criminal or administration investigation and/or disposition of the case; advocate for victims of sexual assault, which may include engaging in direct advocacy and training for senior leadership regarding the role of an SVC, in a manner that is both professional and respectful, and adhering to the highest military decorum; assist NGB-JA in the implementation of the SVC program by creating training and drafting policy, tracking time spent and services provided to clients, and communicating any unique legal challenges or precedent-setting issues to NGB-JA, and providing leadership on professional development for other SVCs in the assigned region; and travel in a TDY status if traveling is required to meet client's needs, and communicate to NGB-JA any anticipated hindrances (e.g., case load, conflict of interests or limitation due to state licensing requirements) in the ability to provide services to clients.

Physical Fitness Assessment: Current Physical Fitness Test (all pages) within past 12 months. Must be valid for up to 90 days from date of application submittal.

AF Form 422 -Notice of AF Members Qualification Status: With no restrictions and validated within 60 days prior to tour start date.  Form must indicate member does not have a deployment restriction (Code 31) or is undergoing an MEB (Code 37). Working copy will not be accepted. Upon final selection, you may need to provide an updated AF422.

vMPF RIP: Must  include all pages.  Ensure your Total Active Federal Military Service (TAFMS) is listed on your RIP

PCARS RIP:  Point Credit Accounting and Reporting Systems From vMPF or MilPDS

Sanctuary Waiver:  If TAFMS is 16 years or greater; must submit a Statement of Understanding Waiver of AD Sanctuary.
