Funeral/Memorial Service Flyovers

Requests for flyovers for funerals and memorial services are not processed through National Guard Bureau Public Affairs. Individuals requesting flyovers for funerals or memorial services should contact Army or Air Force Mortuary Affairs offices directly:

 

Humanitarian Donations

The Denton Program allows private U.S. citizens and organizations to use space available on U.S. military cargo planes to transport humanitarian goods, such as clothing, food, medical and educational supplies, and agricultural equipment and vehicles, to countries in need. For assistance in transporting humanitarian donations through the Denton Program, please contact United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

 

Transportation of Non-DOD Goods

Title 31 of the United States Code (The Economy Act) prohibits DOD from transporting non-DOD goods and people unless (1) it is in the national interest, (2) commercial transportation is not available, (3) the request is sponsored by a Federal government executive agency, and (4) the sponsoring agency agrees to reimburse DOD for the cost of transporting the goods or people.
