DLA Warfighter Support Initiative

The DLA Warfighter Support Initiative provides warfighters training and information to help them procure vital assets they need to support and sustain their missions. The initiative aims to foster a better understanding of the agency and increase customer satisfaction.

Two-day forums include training seminars from the DLA's primary-level field activities covering what they do and how they do it. A DLA booth display hall shares information on the agency’s support to each customer base. The intent is to hold one event per quarter at a major military installation, with each military service hosting one each year.

In line with the DLA Strategic Communication Blueprint, communication efforts consistently advance DLA’s goals and objectives through the use of coordinated delivery vehicles. The Warfighter Support Initiative demonstrates DLA’s competitive advantage, creates buy-in, and increases awareness and advocacy. Read this fact sheet for more information on the initiative.

A Warfighter Support Initiative forum will be at Naval Station Norfolk, Virginia, June 7-8, and another will be at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, July 13-14.
