CBARR Capabilities:
Partnering with CBARR:
The U.S. Army Edgewood Chemical Biological Center's (ECBC) team of experienced scientists, engineers and technicians routinely develop and refine new technologies, many of which may assist not only the Warfighter but also other government entities, industry and academia. If you are in need of ECBC services, doing business with us has never been easier. Through our Technology Transfer Office, we have in place a variety of agreements and funding mechanisms that can be rapidly activated so you can readily access our expertise and facilities. These include:
- Patent License Agreement
- Cooperative Research and Development Agreement
- Technology Support Agreement
- Memorandum of Agreement
- Memorandum of Understanding Support Agreement (Interagency Agreement)
- Broad Agency Announcement Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR)/Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR)

The Field Deployable Hydrolysis System The FDHS is a transportable, high through put neutralization system designed to convert chemical warfare materiel into compounds not usable as weapons. Neutralization is facilitated through chemical reactions involving reagents that are mixed and heated to optimize throughput with a destruction efficiency of 99.9 percent. This video is a quick animation of how the process takes place. |
