ECBC works to protect the warfighter and U.S. interest through chemical and biological defense research and development. ECBC's workforce and infrastructure make the organization a unique national asset, counting among its customers nearly every federal agency including the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Through its technology transfer program ECBC also partners with industrial firms such as Lockheed-Martin and the Gillette Company as well as academia, further sharing its technical expertise and ensuring national defense needs are met in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
