Mike Coy, chief of the Real Estate Branch, teaches Sabrina Dornellas, real estate specialist, how to use a laser distance finder April 29 while Michelle Sappa, real estate specialist, holds a target for the required measurement. The Real Estate Branch conducted an inventory of the Alaska District’s buildings on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson. The task served as a training opportunity to learn how to measure buildings, sidewalks and record the acquired data. The purpose of the assignment was to verify the real property inventory list and help prepare the real estate instrument that authorizes the district headquarters and its buildings to reside on the installation.
