Course Description:

The U.S. Government Rental Car Program Training for Rental Car Employees course outlines the terms and conditions of the U.S. Government Rental Car Program that apply to participating rental car companies. This training is intended to increase the employee's knowledge and understanding of the program. Provisions include reservation procedures, insurance coverage, procedures for handling accidents, quality assurance responsibilities, and much more. This training is not intended for government travelers.

This course takes an average of 20 minutes to complete in its entirety. This estimate assumes participants visit all of the suggested material. Your time may vary depending on your reading speed, amount of material you access, knowledge questions responses and other factors.

You may complete this class in more than one sitting. If you wish to return to the material, return to the content page and proceed to the section in which you did not complete; there is no need to start from the beginning. You may print a certificate at the end of this course.

Pop-up Blocker and Information Bar Issues

Please make sure you disable any Pop-Up blockers and the Information Bar that you have enabled on your computer when viewing the courses. Pop-Up blockers will prevent you from viewing the course.

How to Turn Off the Information Bar for Active X Controls:

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Select Tools
  3. Select Internet Options
  4. Select the Advanced tab
  5. Scroll down until you see the Security List.
  6. Check the box next to the "Allow active content from CDs to run on My Computer"
  7. Check the box next to the "Allow active content to run in files on My Computer"
  8. Select OK

How to Disable Pop-Up Blockers using the Tools Menu:
  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Select Tools
  3. Select Pop-up Blocker
  4. Select Turn Off Pop-up Blocker

How to Disable Pop-Up Blockers using the Security Tab:

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Select Tools
  3. Select Internet Options
  4. Select the Security tab
  5. Select Custom Level
  6. Scroll down until you see 'Use Pop-up Blocker'
  7. Select Disable
  8. Select OK

How to Disable the Google Pop-Up Blocker:

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Select the Google icon drop-down
  3. Select Options
  4. In the Browsing tab uncheck 'Popup Blocker'

Note: Depending upon what is installed on your computer, it is possible that you may have more than one pop-up blocker running. You will have to disable all of them for this course to run properly. Once you have disabled the popup-blockers in your system, close the browser and restart the course.
