New Year New You Webinar

1/8/2016

A new year offers a fresh perspective on the year that you won’t have any other time. The American Psychological Association (APA) cautions that the New Year isn’t meant to serve as a catalyst for sweeping character changes, but as a time for people to reflect on their past year’s behavior and promise to make positive lifestyle changes. Join CAPT Aguilera, Monday, January 11 at 1:30pm EST to discuss healthy ways to approach a new year and healthy goal planning.

No prior registration is required. Participants are invited to join us using the following access link: https://conference.apps.mil/webconf/NewYearNewYou. For audio, dial 1-877-918-1345, passcode 2308554. Audience members must avoid sharing personal health information when asking a question. Questions will be answered immediately following the presentation.

Many people start the New Year with hope and big plans. With thoughtful planning and realistic goals, you can end the year with success.

The speaker for this event is CAPT Sal Aguilera. CAPT Aguilera currently serves as the Department Chief of Pastoral Care at Walter Reed National Medical Center in Bethesda, MD.  Before this, CAPT Aguilera held multiple assignments, including duty at Headquarters Battalion, Headquarters Marine Corps; United States Naval Forces Central Command/Fifth Fleet Bahrain, Manama; Navy Region Hawaii; Naval Surface Group Middle Pacific and Seventh Fleet Command, Yokosuka, Japan. CAPT Aguilera has earned multiple Legion of Merit awards, Meritorious Service Medals, Achievement Medals and more.
