ENTERPRISE ENGINEERING

The DoD Information Network (DoDIN) is a globally interconnected end-to-end set of information capabilities for collecting, processing, storing, disseminating and managing information on demand to warfighters, policymakers and support personnel.

We at DISA believe:

  • A robustly networked force improves information sharing
  • Information sharing enhances the quality of information and shared situational awareness
  • Shared situational awareness enables collaboration and self-synchronization, and enhances sustainability and speed
  • These, in turn, dramatically increase mission effectiveness.

It is this logic that drives our initiative to plan, design, construct, and analyze the effectiveness of the U.S. military's cyberspace. In addition, we establish the technological standards that make the DoDIN secure and reliable. We strive to rapidly and continuously roll-out improvements, ensuring information superiority for the United States and our coalition partners.
