Active Duty Service Members
National Guard Reserve Members
- If you were on active duty for more than 30 days when injured, your benefits are the same as an active duty service member.
- If you were on active duty for less than 30 days when injured, you may qualify for Line of Duty care.
Retired Service Members
If you’re a retired service members and have a service connected injury or illness, you may qualify for benefits through TRICARE or the VA.
Fisher Houses
A Fisher House is "a home away from home" for families of patients receiving medical care at major military and VA medical centers. The homes provide comfortable, temporary housing for families of service members recovering from serious medical conditions. Families pay $10.00 per night to stay in a Fisher House; however, this fee is waived for families of wounded service members. The homes are normally located within walking distance of the treatment facility or have transportation available. >>Learn More
