If you have questions or concerns about MC4 and the EMR system, technical problems with this website or other general inquiries, please email or call 301-619-7858.Emails to MC4 are monitored Monday through Friday during normal business hours, Eastern Standard Time. Responses are normally provided within 72 business hours.
Social Media
MC4 participates in social media and monitors activity on these platforms, including but not limited to Twitter, Flickr and YouTube. Comments, posts, re-tweets and mentions on social media pages are subject to the same guidelines as comments on The Gateway (see below) and MC4 reserves the right to block users on these platforms who repeatedly violate this policy.

We welcome your comments and sharing of content on The Gateway, MC4’s website and social media pages.
The purpose of the commenting feature on The Gateway is to facilitate an ongoing dialogue about topics concerning military health information technology. We retain the discretion to determine which comments violate our comment policy. We also reserve the right to remove violations. We expect all contributors to be respectful.
For the benefit of robust discussion, we ask that comments remain “on-topic.” A comment will be posted only if it relates to the topic discussed within the item it is submitted in response to.

Privacy Policy
The Product Manager, Medical Communications for Combat Casualty Care (PM MC4) World Wide Web (WWW) service is provided as a public service.
Information presented on the PM MC4 WWW service is considered public information and may be distributed or copied for non-commercial purposes. Use of appropriate byline/photo/image credits is requested.
For site management, information is collected.
This government computer system uses software programs to create summary statistics, which are used for website planning and maintenance, determining technical design specifications, and analyzing system performance.
For security purposes, and to ensure that this service remains available to all users, this government computer system employs software programs to monitor network traffic and to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, to cause damage, or to deny service to authorized users.
Except for authorized law enforcement investigations, no other attempts are made to identify individual users or their usage habits. Server logs are scheduled for regular destruction in accordance with National Archives and Records Administration General Schedule 20.
Unauthorized attempts to upload information or change information on this service are strictly prohibited and are punishable under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act of 1986 and the National Information Infrastructure Protection Act.

MC4 uses social media to support the program’s mission. The MC4 social media presence includes, but is not limited to, accounts on Twitter, Flickr and YouTube. These platforms are monitored regularly and content on these sites is relevant to MC4 program activities, EMR news and other topics of importance and interest to MC4 audiences. MC4 monitors its connections and their activity via social media to identify opportunities for engagement and collaboration. Data from all MC4 social media channels are used to track trends, behaviors of relevant organizations and followers to identify popularity of content shared. MC4 collects this data using third party applications including but not limited to HootSuite, Twitter Search, SocialMention.com, and Followerwonk.
MC4 follows individuals and organizations that are relevant to MC4 and its mission, as well as certain media outlets/reporters who may mention MC4 or other topics of interest in news coverage. MC4 may “Favorite” partner tweets and MC4 Army tweets that share significant information the program wants to reference again at a later time. The tool Followerwonk.com is used to provide insights on the specific demographics of MC4's followers.
