Several times a year, myPay undergoes system updates to improve current functionality, expand your ability to manage your military, federal civilian and military retired pay, and increase the security of your online account.

These changes and enhancements come from the military services, agencies and federal departments we provide payroll services to. Particularly in the case of security, DoD and other federal regulations mandate the level of access requirements we must comply with. Of course, we can’t forget the latest technology and industry advancements that can add to myPay’s financial management capabilities as well as overall reliability and security.

Travel Pay W-2s Tax statements for travel pay will be available on myPay no later than Jan. 31, 2016 Customers submitting following claims during 2015:

► Navy Civilian Permanent Change of Station (PCS)
► Navy Active and Reserve Personally Procured Move (PPM)
► Navy Health Professional Loan Repayment Program (HPLRP) and Student Loan Repayment Program (SLRP)
► Marine Corps Civilian Long Term TDY
► Army NAF Civilian PCS

Non-Resident Alien FITW:   The ability to change Federal Income Tax Withholding (FITW) is being added for non-resident alien federal civilian employees via individual myPay accounts. Federal civilian employees (non-resident alients) December 2015
Federal Civilian Employee Debt Letters Civilian employees can still opt in for electrronic delivery only to receive any debt letters from DFAS via myPay.

Federal civilian employees for agencies served by DFAS will have debt letters posted to their myPay account (when applicable) beginning Jan. 1, 2016.

Marine Corps TSP Catch-Up  Eligible Marines making TSP Catch-up contributions via myPay will no longer need to specify a principle amount when choosing an amount they want deducted from their pay.

The user may simply enter an installment amount for Traditional TSP Catch-up and/or Roth TSP Catch-up. The combined annual IRS Catch-Up (Traditional and Roth) limit is $6,000.  After establishing Catch-up, a Marine may stop their participation at any time.
