Several Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen from Fort Leonard Wood joined the 399th Army Band and Maneuver Support Center of Excellence Color Guard at the Springfield Cardinals Military Appreciation game Saturday. Brigadier Gen. Kent Savre, Maneuver Support Center of Excellence and Fort Leonard Wood commanding general, gave the players a motivational pre-game speech and threw out the ceremonial first pitch and Staff Sgt. Michael Joseph, Army Operation Rising Star winner and member of 399th Army Band, sang "God Bless America" during the 7th inning stretch.
