Arthur Lumzy Jr., Director

Arthur advises students on career-related topics such as major and career exploration as well as job search strategies. Arthur also facilitates engagement between employers and students by hosting career focused programs, workshops, networking events, career fairs, job and internship postings, and on-campus recruiting. Arthur is originally from Columbia, MS, and has over 10 years’ experience in the career services arena.  Arthur received his master’s degree in Counseling and Personnel Services and his B.A. in History from the University of Southern Mississippi.  Arthur joined UNT Dallas in August, 2014. Sarah Davenport, Experiential Learning Project Coordinator 

Sarah assists students in securing internships and other experiential learning activities. Originally from Southern California, Sarah transplanted to Texas where she received her Bachelors of Science in Human Services Management and Leadership from UNT Dallas. While at UNT Dallas, she was president of Tau Sigma National Honor Society. Her work experience includes nonprofit management, volunteer management, community outreach and engagement, public speaking, public relations, event coordination, strategic planning, and program development.  Prior to joining UNT Dallas, Sarah served as the Outreach Liaison for Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson, of the U.S. House of Representatives. Sarah is a graduate student in the Dispute Resolution and Conflict Management program at Southern Methodist University, where she is also member of SMU Simmons Young Leaders in Education.
