UNT closed all offices and libraries and cancelling classes at 1 p.m. Dec. 5 due to inclement weather. Blackboard Learn classes and online testing will continue as scheduled. The university will remain closed Dec. 6.

University personnel identified as essential must be at work unless otherwise notified by their supervisor.

Faculty will communicate via e-mail or Blackboard if there are any changes in text schedules or project deadlines.

The university administration will make every attempt to make a decision about the need for additional delayed opening or closure as early as possible.

Please check local media reports or the UNT website for information about future closings or delays, should weather conditions persist or deteriorate. This information applies only to UNT. Other entities in the UNT System report their closures.
