Help people in need by giving through SECC, the State of Texas fundraising effort

You can help people in need by giving through the State Employee Charitable Campaign. UNT's campaign will continue through the month of October.

UNT has set a goal of surpassing last year's campaign, in which we raised $219,437 with a 34.4 percent participation rate. You can read more about the campaign.

Your gift to charitable organizations can make a huge difference for those who are less fortunate or need a helping hand. The state makes it as easy as possible to give to the organization of your choice.

  • You can donate to more than 400 local, state and national organizations.
  • You can be assured that your money goes to legitimate, regularly audited nonprofits.
  • You can donate as a payroll deduction or a one-time gift.
  • You should have received a printed letter about the SECC with a packet attached. These were distributed to everyone on campus Oct. 1.

Please complete the information and return the packet either by campus mail or in person to: SECC: PACS Dean’s Office, Chilton Hall, Room 209.

Don't forget the other ways you can support SECC.

  • 13th annual SECC Golf Tournament, Oct. 15 at Oakmont Country Club in Corinth
  • Celebrity Waiter lunches at Avesta Restaurant, in the University Union, second level, every Thursday in October. Tips will be donated to SECC.
