The Multicultural Center hosted its “Tea on Tuesday: Women Making History” March 27.

This annual event is held every March to commemorate National Women’s History Month, and the purpose of the “Tea” is for the UNT community to have the opportunity to honor their peers and colleagues.

Honorees are recognized for their standout leadership, their service to the UNT community, and for their contributions to women’s issues.

This year’s honorees included: Carolyn Blevins, Assistant Director of Auxiliary Services; Gloria Cox, Dean of the Honors College; Raven Dickerson, Student Assistant for the Career Center; Christine Ellis, Assistant Director of the Career Center; Lauren Helixon, Assistant Director of Operations and Research for the Office of Sustainability; Laurea Irving, Assistant Director of Events for the President’s Office; Daneetra Kersee, Program Coordinator of the Career Center; April Kuykendall, Lecturer and Advisor for the Department of Management & College of Business; and The Department of Rehabilitation, Social Work, and Addictions.
