- The 21 point comeback was the biggest in Super Pit history.
- With the win, UNT improves to 7-2 all-time against Denver in games played at the Super Pit.
- After scoring a season-low 22 points in the first half, the Mean Green poured in 47 in the second half and out-scored Denver by a 47-23 margin in the final half.
- Collin Dennis led three Mean Green players in double figures with 14 points, marking his first double-figure game in his last four outingsdating back to the UTA game on Dec. 29, 2008.
- Dominique Johnson and Adam McCoy both finished with 11 points each, including knocking down two three-pointers each.
- For McCoy, his 11-point effort marked his second double-figure outing in his last four games. He connected on 2-of-4 three-pointers, marking the sixth time this season he’s connected on at least two three-pointers in a game.

- Although UNT topped Denver on the boards, 29-20, the Mean Green’s 29 total rebounds equaled the team’s low in that department. The Mean Green also grabbed just 29 rebounds against UT-Arlington on Dec. 29.
