Panel of four DFW business leaders to discuss keys to success in business

Four industry experts will discuss the key to success in business leadership as part of the Business Leadership Distinguished Speakers Series hosted by the College of Business 10 a.m. Oct. 4 at the Business Leadership Building, Atrium.

The program seeks to enhance the educational experience of students in the College of Business while showcasing programs, faculty and students to the business community.

The following panelists will participate:

  • Carlos Munguia, Texas Capital Bank executive vice president and manager of commercial banking. Over the past 30 years, Munguia has developed and managed commercial relationships of local companies with revenues ranging from $2 million to $50 million.
  • Paula Calise, principal at the recruiting company, LINKED. Calise has worked for IBM, Lexis/Nexis, TXU Energy’s Middle Market Business and Viscern.
  • Barron Green, senior director with Alvarez & Marsal Business Consulting LLC. Green has more than 25 years in business consulting with experience providing performance improvement, revenue assurance, IT solutions and risk management services to companies.
  • Scott Orr, vice president of public affairs for Fidelity Investments. Orr oversees Fidelity’s civic and community relations efforts, including volunteerism for its 5,500 Texas-based employees and working with its strategic nonprofit partners and other charitable programs.
