UNT students, faculty and staff are encouraged to add even more green to the greens at the inaugural North Texas LPGA Shootout golf tournament, April 25-28 at the Las Colinas Country Club in Irving.

Current students, faculty and staff will receive free single-day passes to the tournament by presenting official university identification at event ticketing, thanks to a partnership with tournament organizers.

The 72-hole tournament will feature 49 of the top 50 LPGA players, including Stacy Lewis, 2012 Rolex Player of the Year, Inbee Park, who is currently No. 1 in the Rolex rankings and Yani Tseng, the recent winner of the LPGA’s Kraft Nabisco Championship. The purse for the event is $1.3 million.
