 Dear faculty and staff,

Many of you have been asking about whether UNT will close early this Friday, and I wanted to keep you informed. UNT does not intend to close early for Good Friday, March 29.

I know some of you may have been hoping for a campuswide closure, but I hope you understand that as a public university, it's important that we don't disrupt our classes or services to students.

I do, however, understand and respect that many of you observe Good Friday for religious or cultural reasons and want to remind you that you can take the day off for personal observance if you have your supervisor's approval. You will need to use personal time such as a vacation or compensatory day to do this.
