Carnae Dillard needs no introduction to the Mean Green faithful that have followed North Texas over the last four seasons.

The reigning player of the year in Conference USA and a two-time national player of the week, Dillard has racked up a program record 2,291 kills, a total that leads all active volleyball players in the country. Additionally, she is a four-time first-team all-conference selection and leads the NCAA in kills per set, while being second in the nation in points per set.

But there’s much more to the undersized outside hitter than record-breaking performances and dazzling statistical feats. Off the floor, she is a daughter, friend and role-model to many, even through times of tragedy.
