The North Texas Coliseum, better known as The Super Pit, is home to Mean Green men's and women's basketball and to a long and colorful history.
Located at 600 Avenue D, the nickname Super Pit derives from the Coliseum’s predecessor, the Men’s Gym, which was known as the Snake Pit. In 1973, North Texas basketball moved across Highland Street to the Super Pit, trading 5,000 wood-bleacher seats for 10,500 padded, individual seats. The arena was updated in 2013 with a new court and a center-hung scoreboard. Click here for more information on the The Super Pit.
There are two parking options on gameday at the Super Pit: preferred parking for Mean Green Club members with a parking pass and parking for the general public.
Mean Green Club parking is on Highland Street and the northern-most portion of the Fouts Field lot. Mean Green Club members may also parking in the general section of the Fouts Field lot. Access is from North Texas Blvd.
General parking is in the Fouts Field lot, access from North Texas Blvd. Parking is free.
