WKU pounded out a season-high 19 hits which resulted in 13 runs Wednesday night at Nick Denes Field as the Hilltoppers (25-21) cruised past Belmont (18-25-1) with a 13-3 victory.
Registration is now open for all seven football camps WKU Football will host this summer, including four satellite camps, throughout June and July.
WKU thrower Jessica Ramsey has received her seventh Sun Belt Conference Female Field Athlete of the Week award after breaking the WKU discus record last weekend, the league announced Wednesday.
The WKU women's track and field team has entered the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Top 25 for the first time in program history, coming in at No. 22 in this week's national rankings with 82.07 points.
WKU saw its 6-2 lead shrink to 6-5 late Tuesday night at Austin Peay, but junior closer Ian Tompkins struck out Governors' outfielder Cayce Bredlau with the bases loaded in the ninth inning to break WKU's single-season saves record while preserving the Hilltoppers' 6-5 win at Raymond C. Hand Park.
