China Advisory Council

The China Advisory Council (CAC) serves as UNT’s internal advisory board on China engagement, and is charged with making strategic recommendations to academic affairs and the university at-large in developing, refining and achieving UNT’s goals in China. Specifically, the CAC has the following responsibilities:

  1. Review and recommend partnership strategies with Chinese institutions
  2. Review and recommend funding requests from a pool of Provost-designated Venture Funds
  3. Advise the university on academic and academic support initiatives that optimize engagement with China related to teaching, research and service, and provide feedback on the progress and success of China activities and programs at UNT.

UPDATE April 19, 2016 UNT has been offered two government-sponsored scholarships for 2016-2017. These scholarships are intended to strengthen educational exchanges and cooperation between China and the United States.
