To learn about engineering admissions, available engineering degrees and majors, curriculum requirements, resources, etc. prior to applying to UNT, please refer to http://engineering.unt.edu/prospective. You can also contact an engineering recruiter with questions or concerns. The engineering recruiters assist and advise all prospective students prior to their admissions to UNT and the College of Engineering. After admissions is approved, advising is offered during the mandatory New Student Orientation. Information about orientation is located at http://studentaffairs.unt.edu/orientation.
Current graduate (master’s and/or doctorate) students must contact the department of their degree program/major for advising. Please refer to http://engineering.unt.edu/grad for contact information.
Current undergraduate students must contact the Engineering Advising Office to schedule an appointment with the appropriate advisor designated by engineering degree program/major. The Engineering Advising Office is located in Discovery Park A101 and the number is 940-565-4201. New undergraduates cannot be advised until after they attend a mandatory New Student Orientation (for students new to UNT) or a Major Changers Session (for UNT students who wish to transition into engineering from another degree program/major).
