Biography
Partner in Charge of International Executive Services (“IES”) in Dallas bringing more than 23 years of innovative tax and human resource consulting services to her clients. Served as America’s lead and CFO on KPMG’s Global Expatriate Management Board. Served as the co-partner sponsor for the KNOW (KPMG Network of Women) established to help recruit and retain more than 600 females in the Dallas office. Currently serves on the KPMG Board of Trustees for the KPMG Foundation and a board member of the PhD Project. Melisa is a past member of the KPMG Partnership Council. She serves on the KPMG Inbound Network within the firm coordinating inbound services from France. Melisa was recently elected to the board of directors of SIFE (Student In Free Enterprise). She serves on the board of directors of The PhD Project. Melisa is founder and President of The Board Connection, an organization whose purpose is to increase the number of women serving on public and private corporate boards. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Science in Taxation from the University of North Texas. Melisa is a CPA and a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Melisa is a frequent speaker at many local international expatriate business organizations.
