Over 2,500 students, faculty, staff and alumni participated in the day of service. Volunteers visited 70 different locations working with 50 different agencies in Denton and some surrounding towns. Approximately 7,500 hours of service were done for The Big Event. After the volunteer activities were complete, students were welcomed back to campus for a little celebration with games, food and fun. This year was a huge success and we cannot wait to make next year an even bigger success for UNT, Denton and the surrounding community. Learn more about The Big Event
