The online program is geared toward criminal justice practitioners interested in advancing their careers and working professionals interested in pursuing careers in criminal justice.
The online Master of Science in Criminal Justice is a two-year program consisting of four (4) required core courses (12 Hours), 21 hours of electives from criminal justice (9 hours of elective courses from outside the discipline can be completed), and 3 hours of a capstone course that will assist the student in integrating their skills into a practical setting (for a total of 36 hours to complete the degree).
The Department of Criminal Justice is dedicated to continuing growth as a leader in developing high quality internet and web-based instruction, and to increasing the use of new and innovative technology in the delivery of its instructional programs to individuals whose circumstances prevent them from regularly attending classes on the university campus. The online program allows students to complete coursework around their schedules and finish their degree in two years.
