Congrats to Claudia Kitching, who placed fifth in the "B" final in the 200-meter breaststroke at the France Olympic Championships! She also placed 30th in the prelims of the 100-meter breaststroke. ‪#‎GoMeanGreen‬

North Texas took sole possession of fourth place after day two at the Conference USA Championships in Atlanta.

Day two featured five events, and North Texas had three swimmers and divers compete in the evening "A" finals and seven others in "B" finals, all scoring points for the Mean Green. ‪#‎GoMeanGreen‬ ‪#‎CUSASwim‬

North Texas travels to Atlanta to the C-USA Championships, seeking its best league finish in school history, having placed fifth each of the last two seasons.

They boast a trio of sophomores that are tied or hold the fastest time in the league in their respective events. They have also been buoyed by a pair of talented mid-year additions.

Rebekah Bradley and Samantha Scheck combined to help North Texas sweep the season's final Conference USA Swimming and Diving Awards!

It's the second consecutive weekly honor for Bradley, who posted a pair of NCAA B time standard in the 100 and 200 backstroke. It's the first such honor for Scheck, who swept the diving competition in last week's dual meet at SMU. ‪#‎GMG‬

The North Texas swimming and diving team put together several good swims and dives, including four first-place finishes, but they came up just short, falling to Metroplex rival SMU by a score of 132-109 on Friday night in Mansfield.

Those swims and dives included an NCAA B time standard for Rebekah Bradley, who picked up her ninth first-place finish with a time of 1:58.03 in the 200-yard backstroke! It also included a sweep of the diving events for Samantha Scheck! ‪#‎GMG‬

North Texas travels to Mansfield to take on Metroplex rival SMU, looking to make more history Friday.

With a win over SMU, North Texas would have its first Metroplex sweep of TCU and SMU in school history and also finish the 2015-16 season with an 8-3 dual-meet record and a .727 winning percentage, which would be the best mark in school history. ‪#‎GMG‬
