In conjuction with Six @ Six, an exhibition in a Motel 6 in Baltimore, MD, Motel Portal is a one night only installation and web portal connecting Denton, TX and Baltimore, MD. Motel Portal is a web portal and video installation that connects two physical locations and art events with their virtual simulation.

This exhibition of site-specific temporary public artwork will be the result of a 3 day Mappathon hosted by UNT New Media, UNT Sculpture, and CHiKA (guest artist). Combining physical and inflatable materials with projection mapping, artwork will explore the concepts of “lost” and "found;" spanning from the material to the intangible.

The graduate students at Oak Street Hall invite the community into their studio spaces. Graduate students occupy the spaces and for this one night will have open doors and work on display for all to enjoy. The event is free and open to the public.
