UNT alumna Renee Vance Brunson part of award-winning costume design team

Renee Vance Brunson ('02)Renee Vance Brunson ('02) has stitched up a nice career in the entertainment world.

She and her husband, actor Will Brunson ('00), whom she met when they worked on a play at UNT, run FreakFly production company.

She has worked in costuming in New York City theatre, including the Broadway run of The Color Purple, and several soap operas. For the last three years, she has served as wardrobe supervisor for The Bold and the Beautiful. The show recently won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Costume Design.

"We all feel really proud to be recognized because our team is very small," she says. "We each play a pivotal role to get the show looking good."
