Biography

Michele Medina, a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Management, received her B.S. in Business Management from Louisiana State University in 2009 and completed her M.B.A. from McNeese State University in 2012.  While enrolled as a master's student, Michele fell in love with academia and decided to pursue her Ph.D. in Management.

Michele has worked for some large companies, including JP Morgan Chase Bank, JC Penney, and the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, FL.

Michele's research interests lie in the area of Organizational Behavior.  Some of her current projects include research on conflict, identity, organizational justice, teams, and workplace bullying. Her dissertation focuses on bystanders of coworker bullying.
