Biography

Dr. Chang E. Koh is an associate professor of Information Systems in the Information Technology and Decision Sciences Department at the University of North Texas, Denton, Texas. He also serves as Associate Director for Research for the Information Systems Research Center at UNT.

He lectures and consults on a variety of subjects on information technology and information systems. His current major research interests include success factors and issues for business implementation of Radio Frequency ID (RFID) technology, business Internet practices and strategies, e-government readiness and barriers, and cross-cultural issues of IT implementation. His research articles have appeared in such journals as MIS Quarterly, Information & Management, International Journal of Electronic Commerce, and Journal of Computer Information Systems among others.

He serves on the editorial board of professional journals including International Journal of E Business Research and International Journal of Electronic Finance. He is a member of several professional organizations such as Association for Information Systems (AIS). He is a fellow of the Texas Center for Digital Knowledge (TxCDK). He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Georgia in Information Systems, M.B.A. from Bowling Green State University in Ohio, and B.A. in economics from Yonsei University, South Korea.
