Dear Tachistas,

We invite you to join us for the 44th Annual Conference of the Texas Association of Chicanos in Higher Education.  The conference will be held on February 17 – 20, 2019 at the Wyndham Garden Hotel located at 3401 South I -35 in beautiful Austin, Texas, the “Live Music Capital of the World”.

This year’s conference theme is “Pursuing the Dream; People, Purpose and Passion”.  The theme captures the movement of our Latinx community in Texas, the nation, and beyond as we work toward developing new ideas to keep our community engaged in higher education.

We know the challenges in higher education are many and your participation in this conference is valuable.  We look forward to a vibrant exchange of ideas on best practices and ways we can positively impact changes and help develop solutions to those challenges.

Along with an exciting conference, need we say that a visit to Austin would not be complete without a visit to the bustling 6th Street downtown, fabulous shopping, exciting nightlife and other year-around activities.
