Dear faculty and staff,
I know it gets a little less hectic on campus once finals are done and we turn our attention to the holidays and the new year. On behalf of the entire athletic department, we want to wish everyone on this campus a joyous holiday season. We rely on so many of you, so often, throughout the year. We don’t take for granted what you do for our student-athletes.
It takes an entire campus effort to make a difference in the lives of students and everyone at North Texas is committed to seeing that happen. As far as our student-athletes are concerned, many still compete, practice and train throughout the holidays. This includes our men’s basketball team who plays a rare mid-day game at 11:15 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 17. There will be area elementary school kids in attendance, but we also want you and your employees to join us for a fun-filled lunchtime opportunity to cheer on the Mean Green. Admission is free! It’s a small way of saying thanks and offering you and your employees a chance to come and take a little break before the holiday rush.
We hope to see you in the Super Pit on Thursday.
