CEMI Mission Statement

The Center for Experimental Music & Intermedia (CEMI) is an interdisciplinary center focused on music and arts technologies, housed within UNT's Division of Composition Studies.

CEMI’s mission is to advance the field of experimental music and intermedia by

• presenting and disseminating innovative creative work and research;
• maintaining a world-class environment for teaching, research, creation, and performance;
• providing support and mentorship for students, artists and researchers; and
• fostering interdisciplinary collaboration in arts technology.
