BLUFFTON, S.C. – Freshman Thomas Rosenmueller notched his third top-10 finish of the year as he paced the North Texas men’s golf team in the final round of the Colleton River Collegiate. Rosenmueller shot an even-par score of 72 and climbed into a tie for seventh place.

The Mean Green as a team couldn’t reel in the College of Charleston as they held on for the championship. No. 42 Memphis and No. 45 Michigan State slipped past North Texas as the Mean Green finished in fourth place, six strokes behind the College of Charleston, four behind Memphis and only two shots behind Michigan State.

NT had four golfers place in the top-25. Cory Churchman fell into a tie for 19^th place after shooting a final round of 7-over par 79. Alejandro Villasana and Ian Snyman finished tied for 21^st place after shooting scores of 75 and 74. Michael Cotton finished in a tie for 31^st place following a final round of 76.

Nick Rodriguez, playing as an individual, struggled in the third-round with a score of 12-over par 84.

North Texas is back in action on March 21-22 at The Lone Star Invite.
