With severe weather season once again upon us, students, staff and faculty should review their plans for when severe weather strikes. The best way to protect yourself and those around you during severe weather is to stay informed and be ready to take action. To be prepared, you should:

1. Stay alert – know where to go for up-to-date weather information
2. Have a plan – know where you will go when severe weather strikes 
3. Get Eagle Alerts - update your contact information each semester at my.unt.edu
4. Sign Up for Code Red – provide your contact information to the City of Denton’s high speed telephone communication for emergency notification.
