A golf tournament Oct. 14 at the Oakmont Country Club in Corinth will help raise money for the State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC). Registration for players closes on Oct. 9.

The SECC is a voluntary, annual state-wide program that allows employees of state agencies and higher education to donate to more than 400 nonprofit organizations, including United Way agencies. This year’s campaign runs Oct. 1-31.

The golf tournament begins with registration at 11:30 a.m. and a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The fee is $90 per person. Trophies for first, second and third place winners and door prizes will be given out at the awards ceremony. The tournament is Florida Scramble with four-person teams. Your entry fee includes green fees, cart, prizes, goody bag, and sack lunch. The Tournament is open to UNT students, faculty, staff, and to the general public.

Players may make their own teams or enter as an individual and be placed on a team of four.
