Annual Giving

When you give every year to the College of Business, you make a difference in the lives of students, faculty, and staff, who study, teach, and work to strengthen the college and its priority; educating tomorrow’s leaders. These collective acts of generosity help ensure that a UNT education remains affordable and within reach for our deserving students.

With over 50,000 alumni even small gifts help to provide the quality education associated with the College of Business. Your contributions allow the leadership of the college maximum flexibility to direct funds immediately to the greatest areas to enable the college to be sustainable.

In addition, alumni giving is one of many factors used in many national and international rankings; the amount is not as important as including your alma mater as part of your annual charitable giving. While everyone may not be in a place to make a major gift, you can join others to create a foundation of support for all UNT College of Business students. Here are some examples of how your support provides resources for innovative teaching and research.

$100 – Pays for one book used to develop curriculum for Marketing, Aviation, or Logistics.  State funds (course fees) cannot be used to buy trade books and software we use to create coursing and update coursing to approach industry practice.  Textbooks are usually up to ten years out of date.

$500 – Provides funding for a top team of ITDS students in the Business Computer Information Systems (BCIS) case competition

$1000 – provides a scholarship enabling a student to receive in-state tuition.
