Communities In Schools of North Texas announces new chief executive officer

Communities In Schools of North Texas, an organization dedicated to surrounding students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life since 1993, has announced the selection of Ann Pape, MPA,  as its new chief executive officer.

Pape will fill the vacancy created by Dana Smith’s departure in February to join CIS National. The decision was made after a national search and selection process conducted by the CISNT Board of Directors.

Forney ISD announces new Instructional Technology Director and Forney Academic Center principal

The Forney Independent School District recently announced that Stormy Lemond, currently the principal at the Forney Academic Center (FAC), has been named the Director of Instructional Technology for the District. Lemond will continue her role as the principal of the FAC through the remainder of the 2015-2016 school year and move into her new role with the District in June.

UMB Bank, a subsidiary of UMB Financial Corp. , has hired UNT alumna Mina Castaneda as senior vice president of healthcare lending out of the company’s Dallas office.

Castaneda is responsible for healthcare finance and senior living finance throughout Texas, Oklahoma and Arizona. 

Castaneda has more than 26 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry, with the last 15 years focused on healthcare lending. Prior to her role at UMB, she was vice president of the healthcare and senior living lending group at Comerica Bank.

As 35 Denton expands, the festival’s talent buyers Charlie Hunter and Dallas Guill have expanded their horizons as well, bringing on a new booking person whose musical background is different, but equally tied to Denton.
