Plant science researchers at the University of North Texas have found potential new pathways for the creation of plant-based bioproducts. The research is outlined in a new article in the journal Nature Plants.

Annual Transportation Breakfast and Byron Nelson Open House – hosted by the University of North Texas Center for Logistics Education and Research. Life of Purpose staff

Students who are recovering from alcohol and substance addiction, but do not want their treatment to keep them from pursuing university degrees, will have a resource for them at the University of North Texas. Life of Purpose Treatment, an intensive outpatient program designed specifically for college and university students, will open its second location on the UNT campus in Denton.

Alexandra Ponette-González recently received a $475,167 National Science Foundation CAREER award for a five-year analysis of the effectiveness of blackjack oaks and post oaks in capturing black carbon -- commonly emitted by diesel engines -- in urban areas.
